University of Southampton Sports Ground, Wide Lane

This is the training ground and home of Wessex hockey. It was opened in 2005 by UoS Alumnus and Sports Broadcaster, John Inverdale. The 76 acre facility hosts a wide range of pitches and courts. The hockey pitch is sand-based and within the pavilion there are 24 changing rooms, a bar and meeting room.

BUS - Catch the U1a to the Airport Parkway Station stop, go over the station bridge and out of the station, Wide Lane is on the other side of the road,opposite

CAR - There is ample parking, many people car-poole, just find out who lives near you.

RAIL - Southampton Airport Parkway Station is opposite the sports ground.
